Yeah, but what about you and me? The sons of a professor...we're hardly keeping that tradition going...

Hey, you linked to it first. Anyway, the only point here is, something fundamental is being lost. Not that everyone should be putting their hands in the dirt...but maybe there are people who would be but aren't because they've never even seen it (e.g., because it's under the asphalt). Which is why this son of a professor is doing it (at least I've read about dirt in a book). But anytime some farmer's (great-grand)son wants to take over, I'll happily hand over the reins of the horse-drawn plow.
